Recreational Pilot Permit

Permit
This Permit permits the pilot to fly a single engine aircraft, carrying up to one passenger, for private use, anywhere in Canada.

 

Private Pilot License

Licence
This license entitles the pilot to fly any single engine aircraft with one or more passengers, for private use.

 

Commercial Pilot License

Licence
This license entitles the pilot to fly a single engine aircraft with one or more passengers, and also to charge fees that may exceed the cost of aircraft rental and fuel - IE privately, or for an airline.

 

Instrument rating

Rating
This Rating adds the privilege to fly in IMC (Instrument Meteorological Conditions) to an existing license. Essential for all Commercial pilots, and private pilots who wish to fly without necessarily maintaining visual reference to the ground.

 

Night Rating

Rating
This rating adds the privilege of flying at night to an existing license, with visual reference to ground, and instruments. This rating is also essential to pilots intending to obtain their commercial license.

 

Instructor

Rating
This rating adds the privilege of teaching flying to an existing comercial pilot license.
